Summary Asking rate is steadily climbing amidst poor stroke play by batsman of the host team

(Web Desk) – Pakistani bowlers bowled tight line and length to reduce the hosts to 90/4 in 26 overs. Bowlers took a pair while Imad Wasim took a sole wicket to restrict Zimbabwe to less than a hundred runs in 156 balls, reported Dunya News.

Zimbabwe started the innings with required run rate of 5.2 but the asking rate is steadily climbing amidst poor stroke play by batsman of the host team Zimbabwe. Current run-rate stands at 3.55.

Earlier, Pakistan made a score of 259 batting first at the Harare Cricket Ground after lower-order batsman Muhammad Rizwan and Imad Wasim made valuable 75 and 61 runs respectively to bring much needed momentum to Pakistan’s innings.
