LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held in Dubai and Sharjah instead of the earlier venue of Qatar, reported Dunya News on Thursday.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, PSL has now been transferred to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) instead of Qatar. The event will last from 4 to 24 February. Chairman PCB Najam Sethi has said that PSL franchises will be sold in the month of November.

132 international cricketers have shown the availability including Kevin Pietersen, Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Luke Wright, Shakib Al Hasan, Lasith Malinga, Angelo Mathews and Sunil Narine among others. Five franchises will feature in the league including Quetta, Karachi, Peshawar, Islamabad and Lahore. A single franchise will be sold at Rs 10 crore, which will include players and coach, said the Chairman.

Players will be selected via draft system in December.
