LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shehryar Khan has on Saturday said that nobody will die of hunger if Pakistan-India series doesn’t take place. He said that series with India is not vital for cricket in Pakistan. However, he said, people on both sides of the border want to see both the teams playing each other, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media, Shehryar Khan said that India should not hide behind the political relations between the two countries. Responding to a question, Shehryar Khan said that the players involved in spot-fixing had brought a bad name to Pakistan and won’t be allowed to play domestic cricket immediately.
“Playing on the front-foot, we have made it clear that Pakistan does not accept Indian hegemony over cricket”, said Chairman PCB.
