CARDIFF, United Kingdom (AFP) - Australia were bowled out for 308 in reply to England s first innings 430, a deficit of 122 runs, on the third day of the first Ashes Test at Sophia Gardens on Friday.

Ashes-holders Australia lost their last five wickets for 44 runs after resuming Friday on 264 for five.

James Anderson led England s attack with three for 43 in 18.5 overs, with opener Chris Rogers top-scoring for Australia with 95 on Thursday.
