Bangladeshi newspaper disgraces Indian Cricket Team by shameful Facebook post

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Prothom Alo, a renowned Bangladeshi newspaper took on Indian Cricket Team by posting a shameful Facebook post and advertisement in its weekly supplement Rosh Alo

The ad featured in front page of the supplement. Seven Indian players Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, R. Jadeja, MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan and R. Ashwin shown as half shaved while Bangladeshi star bowler Mustafizur Rahman is standing with a cutter in his hand.

The ad exhibits the creativity of the maker. Although some people criticized this published article of Prothom Alo but some of the people admired the creativity of news paper as well.

What does this picture actually represent?

1- Mustafizur Rahman, who had a brilliant series against India with the ball, is standing with a cutter that symbolizes famous ‘off-cutters’ of 19-year-old through which he removed 13 Indian batsmen from 22 yards.

2- Why:
A cricket squad consists of eleven players but only seven Indian players have been displayed in the ad of Rosh Alo. What could be the reason behind it?

Explained:
Mustafizur was the highest wicket taker and probably was the reason behind Bangladesh’s 2-1 victory against India. The seven players that displayed in the ad are no other than victims of Mustafizur’s mighty bowling. That is the possible reason of placing these seven in the ad.

3- Half shave is considered as the sign of ultimate humiliation in Indian tradition and that tells us the clear story behind this ad.
