Summary Lahore Lions will face Sialkot Stallions in the Super8 T20 Cup 2015 final today.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - Super8 T20 Cup 2015 final will be played between Lahore Lions and Sialkot Stallions today (Monday) at in Faisalabad. The match will start at 7:00pm PST.
Kamran Akmal is leading Lahore Lions while Shoaib Malik is captaining Sialkot Stallions in the tournament. The winners of the event will play in Champions League to be held in India.
In the first semi-final played on Sunday, Sialkot Stallions beat Karachi Dolphins by 65 runs.
Batting first, Sialkot Stallions scored 167 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Nauman Anwar was top scorer with 80 runs. In reply, Karachi Dolphins were all out for 102 runs in the 17th over.
In the second semi-final, Lahore Lions beat Rawalpindi Rams by four wickets. Batting first, Rawalpindi Rams scored 100 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Yayyab Riaz was top scorer with 22 runs. Aizaz Cheema and Mustafa claimed two wickets each for Lahore Lions.
In reply, Lahore Lions achieved the target in the last over. Ahmad Shahzad was top scorer with 58 runs while Nasir Jamshaid made 26 runs. Ahmad Shahzad was named Man-of-the-Match.
