Summary Sana Mir Eleven lost 3rd match of the series against South Africa by 7 wickets

SHARJAH (Dunya News) – Pakistan women cricket team lost its 3rd T20 match, played in Sharjah against South Africa, by 7 wickets  on Sunday. Sana Mir Eleven however won the series by 2-1.

Pakistan scored 104 runs in first innings for the loss of 7 wickets. South Africa won the match by achieving the target, losing only 3 wickets during the course. National team’s start was disappointing; lost first wicket for 1 run and second for 2.

Bisma Maroof scored 34 runs which gave some positive hopes. While captain Sana Mir got out without making any run, Asmavia Iqbal played well and contributed her 31 runs to the total.

South Africa’s openers played responsibly and made 57 runs before the partnership was broken. Niekerk made 67 runs which made the victory easy for South Africa. Proteas achieved the target before the last ball of the innings.

Though the third T20 was won by South Africa, national team won the series by 2 games to 1.
