Pakistani tweep predicted India, Pakistan scoreline 5 hours before match ended

Summary Though the man was accused by many of being a bookie, he denied having known about the result

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – A Pakistani tweep’s tweets have been making rounds all over the internet as he predicted the exact scorelines of the Pakistan vs India match on 15th February, around two hours before the Indian team had finished batting. The prediction made by him was so accurate that many started blaming him of having links with the bookies yet he himself denied having any knowledge of the final scoreline and said that it was just a prediction and he always knew that a weak Pakistani side would never be able to chase down such a big total.

Aslam Khan Tanoli who claims to be a supporter and worker of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has become an overnight star on the twitter and has now made a new prediction as well.

At 11:35 in the morning on Sunday, while India was still batting, Aslam predicted that India will score 300 and Pakistan will be all out for 220. The tweet may not have been taken seriously at the time it was tweeted yet when the scoreline proved his prediction correct (probably with an error margin +/- 5) some five and half hours later, entire social media was abuzz with his tweet.

Aslam was declared a bookie, an insider of the fixing mafia and even a PML-N insider who had access to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif s telephonic discussion with Indian counterpart Narendra Modi couple of days before the match. However, he denied the rumors saying that it was just a prediction and nothing more.

Tanoli thus tweeted this:

Nobody can say with conviction whether he just predicted it or the rumors and allegations had anything to do with the reality yet one thing is for sure: Mr. Tanoli has become an overnight star. Proof can be seen from the following tweet.

Tanoli was happy with the response that he received. He heavily criticized the team saying that it was a political team, not a cricket team. There were people congratulating him as well for getting famous.

However, something to be looked closely at is the other prediction that he has made about the world cup. Tanoli said in his tweet that Australia would win the world cup but avoided being precise this time and just mentioned the strong team that Australia has, as a basis for his prediction. Whether this one will come off or not will have to be seen in the days to come.
