Summary Pakistan comes on to bat in pursuit of 301-run target set by India. Pakistan completes its 100.
LAHORE: (Web Desk) - It s over. Sohail Khan has hit that one up way up into the sky but it didn t get the distance. Pakistan were all out for 224 in 47 overs and India made its point loud and clear too that the defending champions are here to play.
Pakistan started off in a shaky manner when Younis Khan was caught behind off a ball that rose on him but Haris Sohail and Ahmed Shehzad seemed to have stabilized things a bit before Haris Sohail was also gone. Misbah joined Ahmed Shehzad and both looked convincing till the team scored its 100. And just then, the sky fell down. from 101 for 2 and cruising, Pakistan were suddenly 105 for 5.
Misbah tried his best from there on but that was not enough as none of the batsmen came to his help and finally Pakistan were all out for 224 off 47 overs. India won the match by 76 runs and have now beaten Pakistan six times out of six encounters the two teams have had in the world cups so far.
Pakistani tweeps were extremely disappointed over dismal batting performance by the middle order.

A question that everyone seems to be asking right now.
Is Misbah playing a game different other from the one the rest of our team played?! #PakvInd
