CHRISTCHURCH (Dunya News) – New Zealand openers Brendon McCullum and Martin Guptill gave a flying start to their side in the World Cup opening match against Sri Lanka on Satarday.
 

New Zealand were 77 without loss in the first 10 overs. Captain Brendon McCullum was on 45 and Martin Guptill contributed 26 runs.
 

Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews won the toss and decided to bowl first against New Zealand in an overcast condition.
