WELLINGTON (AFP) - Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by 34 runs in the seventh and final one-day international in Wellington on Thursday.
Batting first, Sri Lanka made 287-6 with Kumar Sangakkara 113 not out, while New Zealand were dismissed for 253 in the 46th over.
New Zealand won the series 4-2, however, with one match abandoned.
