LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written to International Cricket Council an e-mail requesting the international cricket governing body to fix a date for checking Saeed Ajmal’s bowling action by conducting biomechanics test as soon as possible.

Saeed Ajmal is currently facing ban on his bowling due to inappropriate bowling action. Field umpires had reported to ICC about Saeed’s bowling action during Galle Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. After conducting his tests, Saeed Ajmal’s elbow was found to have a bend of around 40 degrees.

PCB has included Saeed Ajmal in Pakistan’s expected squad of 30 for the World Cup but the squad has not yet been announced. Last date of sending these 30 names to ICC is December 7.
