ADU DHABI (Web Desk) - Day three of Abu Dhabi Test proved beneficial for Pakistan as they rattled New Zealand’s batting on Tuesday.
Pakistan scored 566 for the loss of 3 wickets in their first innings. In response, New Zealand failed to come close to Pakistan s total and got all out for 262 that allowed Pakistan to take lead of 304 runs. At Stumps on day-3, Pakistan had managed to score 15 runs without any loss.

Pakistan performance in both departments (batting and bowling) remained exceptional. First they scored massive total and then destroyed visitors batting line.

Kiwis batted poorly as no batsman showed any resistance except TWM Latham, who scored 103.

After the dismissal of Latham, no other batsman from New Zealand really took a start and due to this failure in batting they were restricted to 262.
Pakistani captain Misbah ul Haq avoided to enforce follow-on and chose to bat again to add more take the game completely out of visitors reach. At Stumps, hosts had scored 15 runs without any loss. Hafeez opened the innings with Azhar Ali due to unfortunate incident of Ahmed Shehzad in the first innings that got Ahmed injured for six weeks.
