Summary Aussies looked extremely strong before lunch, were all out within half an hour after Tea on Day 3
DUBAI: (Web Desk) – Pakistan has taken a 151 run lead over Aussies in the first innings of 1st Test in Dubai. Australians looked strong at Lunch with David Warner batting not out at 133 while Mitch March had only joined him a few balls before the umpire announced Lunch break.
However, Yasir Shah bowled Warner out third ball after the Lunch and Pakistan was right back into the game as Yasir Shah’s sharp spin made it almost impossible for the Ausstralian batsmen to face him. Haddin pounced upon the young Yasir Shah however, a few overs later sending him for a six and two boundaries in the same over. But he was undone by Imran Khan’s delivery that came into Haddin, who helped it on its way to the stumps. It was Imran Khan’s first wicket in Tests. 13 runs laters, Marsh was out LBW by Zulfiqar Babar. He scored 27 runs.
Mitchell Jonson showed some resistance and scored 37 runs off 62 balls but his wicket was taken away by Rahat Ali. Siddle had already been taken out by Mohammad Hafeez before Tea. O’Keefe was rthe last to go and thus Australians were all out for 303 in response to Pakistan’s 452.
