LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi announced on Thursday that Pakistan will host India in home series next year if everything goes by the plan, Dunya Nerws reported.
Talking to an Indian newspaper in an interview, he said that the agreements with all major teams are satisfactory as per Future Tour Program. He said that Test playing countries including India will play with Pakistan in various series.
Sethi said that Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has assured Pakistan of Indo-Pak series. Sethi said that he desires a T20 series based on three matches with India in UAE right after the Indian Premier League (IPL).
PCB Chairman said that there was no pressure over voting for or against ‘Big Three’.
He assured that working on acquiring broadcasting rights of cricket series with major teams will begin next month. He said that the results of this working will be achieved in June this year.
Najam Sethi said that some matters regarding bilateral series with major teams are still pending, following which the agreements will be finalized.
Answering a question, he said that no talks with regards to including Pakistani players in IPL have taken place with BCCI yet.
