MUMBAI (Dunya News) - According to Indian media Vindoo Dara Singh, a co-accused in IPL spot fixing scam has said that he was in contact with Pakistani empire Assad Rauf.
Actor Vindoo Dara Singh, arrested in the IPL betting racket, has allegedly told the Mumbai Police Crime Branch interrogators that wanted bookies Sanjay and Pawan Jaipur have stakes in a team playing in the Sri Lanka Premier League on benami basis.
“I discussed matches with Asad Rauf,” media quoted Vindoo Dara Singh as saying.
Vindoo Dara Singh, who was arrested by the Mumbai Police has reportedly confessed that he was in touch with Asad Rauf.
According to a report in an English news channel, Vindoo has claimed that he used to discuss matches with Asad Rauf.
The Bollowood actor was arrested by the Mumbai police in connection with the IPL spot-fixing scandal.
Vindoo’s arrest had also led to the Mumbai Police pin down on Chennai Super Kings owner and CEO Gurunath Meiyappan.
