Summary India had set a target of 134 runs for Pakistan in the first Twenty20 match on Tuesday.

 

BANGLORE: In the first Twenty-20 match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium‚ Pakistan beat India by 5 wickets on Tuesday night.
Batting first India made 133 runs in allotted twenty overs.

 

In reply‚ Pakistan chased the target in 19. 4 overs. Muhammad Hafeez was decleared man of the match.

 

Gautam Gambhir with 43‚ and Ajinkya Rahane with 42 runs remained the main scorers from Indian side. Umar Gul took 3 while Saeed Ajmal took 2 wickets.

 

The highlight of the match was 61 splendid runs of Muhammad Hafeez and 57 runs of Shoaib Malik. B Kumar took three wickets from Indian side.

 

The Pak-India series consists of two T20s and three ODIs.

The second T20 match will be played in Ahmedabad on December 28.
