ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel, with the new rates taking effect from August 18, 2026.
According to the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs5.77 per litre, while high-speed diesel has become Rs6.47 per litre more expensive.
The revised petrol and diesel prices will remain applicable for one day, starting August 18, 2026.

The Petroleum Division is determining fuel prices on a daily basis under the government’s mechanism for adjusting petroleum product prices.
