KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices witnessed a significant decline in both local and international markets, while silver continued its upward trend, according to the latest rates released by market authorities.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs4,400, bringing it down to Rs471,762.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,773, settling at Rs404,459 in the local bullion market.
In contrast, silver prices registered an increase. The price of 24-karat silver per tola rose by Rs46 to reach Rs8,059.
Meanwhile, gold prices also moved lower in the international market. The price of gold per ounce declined by $44, bringing it down to $4,494.
The latest movement reflects changing trends in the precious metals market, with gold recording losses both locally and globally, while silver posted gains during the trading session.
