KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices took a sharp tumble both in the international and domestic markets on Thursday, giving some much-needed breathing space to buyers after weeks of soaring rates.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold dropped by $36 per ounce, bringing it down to $3,618 per ounce.
Following the global trend, local gold markets also felt the pinch. The price of 24-karat gold per tola slid by Rs4,100, settling at Rs384,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs. 3,515, reaching Rs329,218.
