ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has cut down the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), bringing some much-needed relief to households across the country.

According to the official notification issued on Wednesday, the price of LPG has been reduced by Rs17.73 per kilogram.

This brings the new price to Rs215.37 per kilogram.

As a result, the cost of an 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has gone down by Rs209.24, setting the new cylinder price at Rs2,541.

Ogra slashes LPG prices by Rs7.51 per kg

The revised prices will come into effect from August 1, 2025.

This move by OGRA is likely to ease the burden on consumers already feeling the pinch of inflation. Families who rely on LPG for cooking and heating can now breathe a little easier as energy costs drop slightly heading into the new month.
