Gold price up in local and world markets

Summary

Slight increase in gold prices was recorded in local and international markets today. Gold prices on Thursday surged to Rs 28,600 per 12 grams, up by Rs 50 whereas price of 10 grams rose to Rs 24,514, up by Rs 43 in the local market, traders said. In the world market, gold price increased by 4.50 dollar an ounce to 936.50 dollar.
