The meeting will adopt DRAP’s summary of increasing prices for 54 new medications, sources
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) will meet under the chair of Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar today to authorise the lease for oil and gas exploration from the Adam gas field.
The framework of the agreement between PLL and Sokar will also be authorised at the meeting. The ECC meeting will evaluate the request for an extension of testing at the Umair Oil Field in Guddu.
The meeting will adopt the summary of prices for 54 new medications covered by Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) and its recommendation will be taken into consideration when summarising price increases for medicines.
The conference will also authorise the inspection of wheat shipments at the ports and the Cabinet Division is also anticipated to get a technical supplemental grant of Rs3 billion, sources told Dunya News.
Funds are also expected to be authorised for required renovations to the Supreme Court building and to the homes of judges, on Housing and Works summary.
