Rate set for investment upto $1,000 by 8%, for upto $10,000 at 13.5% over 5-year period
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The government has raised the interest rate for investments in Naya Pakistan Certificates by 1.50 percent.
The Ministry of Finance and Revenue has announced that the interest rate on investments up to $1,000 for a period of five years would be eight percent.
The statement has further added that the interest rate has been raised to 13.50 percent for investments of Rs10,000 made into Naya Pakistan Certificates over a five-year period.
