KARACHI (Dunya News) – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has reduced the price of electricity for the consumers of Karachi.
According to the announcement, in the context of the November fuel adjustment, the electricity price for the consumers of Karachi has been reduced by Rs7.43 per unit after K-Electric demanded reduction by Rs7.04 per unit.
The notification stated that the reduction in the price would be applicable for one month only. The reduction would not be applicable to lifeline consumers, domestic consumers up to 300 units, agricultural consumers and electric vehicle charging stations.
