PKR continues its winning streak against dollar

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistani currency continued to stabilize on the first working day of the week, as it made fresh recovery against the US dollar in the inter-bank market on Monday.
According to details, the local currency appreciated by Rs1.96 against the greenback and closed at Rs217.96. The rupee had closed at Rs219.92 on Friday, according to Pakistan’s central bank data.
With the latest gains, the rupee has cumulatively recovered by Rs21.98 from its record high of Rs239.94.
Bull also returned to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as the benchmark KSE-100 index gained over 300 points in intraday trade.
