The tandoor owners (earthen oven) have increased the prices by themselves.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Tandoor owners (earthen oven) in Lahore have increased the prices of naan and roti in Lahore and now roti is selling at Rs 12 while naan at Rs 18.
The tandoor owners (earthen oven) have increased the prices by themselves and local administration failed in stopping them. Prices of naan has been increased by 5 to 8 rupees while prices of roti is increased by 2 rupees.
As per sources, 10 thousand tandoors in Lahore have increased the prices of naan and roti by themselves. The areas include Anar Kali, Lakshmi, Beadon Road while in the walled city, Naan is selling at Rs 18 and roti at Rs 12. Areas like Johar Town, Township, Faisal Town, and Gulberg have also increased the rates by themselves.
It should be noted that the government has set prices of roti at Rs 10 and naan at Rs 12 while after the increased prices they have been selling at Rs 12 and 18 respectively.
