PKR recovers by Rs2.26 against USD in interbank

After the recovery of rupee, dollar is now being sold on 200 after the day started in the interbank.

 KARACHI (Dunya News) Snapping a long losing streak, the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) has recovered by 2.26 rupees in the interbank market against the US Dollar on Friday.

After the recovery of rupee, Dollar is now selling at 199.75 after the day started in the interbank.

While in open market, the greenback is trading at Rs. 201 after a decrease of Rs. 2.

It should be noted that on IMF’s conditions, government has increased the fuel prices. Following Rs. 30 per liter increase in price of petrol, the new price is Rs. 179.86.

The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was also increased by Rs. 30 per liter and now costs Rs. 174.15 per liter.

On the other hand, the stock market is also trending positively. The stock market has gained by more than 600 points after which the KSE 100 index has reached the level of 43,174.
