Dollar flies high, rises to Rs200.94 in Interbank

Since the arrival of new government the dollar has gained Rs18.01 against the local currency.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – US Dollar closed at historic high against Pakistani Rupee (PKR) after rising by 80 paisa in the Interbank on Monday.
Weakening macros has kept the dollar demand elevated as the greenback closed at Rs200.94 on first business day of the week.
The local currency is being weighed by depleting foreign exchange reserves and uncertainty over the resumption of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program.
Since the arrival of new government the dollar has gained Rs18.01 against the local currency.
