Gold price reached record high in the countrys history and 10-g gold price closed at Rs 45,985.

According to All Pakistan Jewellers Association, 10-gram gold price recorded a growth of Rs 214, while one tola reached Rs 53,650 with an increase of Rs 250.In international market, gold price surged by $4 per ounce.The price of silver showed a decrease of Rs 25 per tola and closed at Rs 1,250.
