State Bank of Pakistan has announced Bank Holiday on 1st Ramazan for deduction of Zakat.

According to a media statement, all offices of SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC), banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and Microfinance Banks (MFBs) will remain closed for public dealing on 1st Ramazan-ul-Mubarak, 1432 A.H., which will be observed as Bank Holiday for deduction of Zakat.However, all officers/staff of SBP, SBP BSC, banks/ DFIs/MFBs will attend their office on Bank Holiday treating it as a normal working day (except for public dealing).
