PKR breaks losing streak, up by 94 paisa per USD
The greenback closed at Rs168.18
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The exchange rate of US Dollar weakened by 94 paisa in the interbank on Thursday against Pakistani rupee.
The greenback closed at Rs168.18 on fourth business day of the week compared to previous closing of Rs169.12.
Meanwhile, the price of euro depreciated by Rs1.98 and closed at Rs198.03 against the last working day’s trading of Rs200.01 the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen closed at Rs1.54, whereas a decrease of Rs1.64 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs232.36 as compared to its last closing of Rs234.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal depreciated by about 25 paisa each to close at Rs45.79 and Rs44.84 respectively.
