Rupee gains 34 paisa against USD
The greenback closed at Rs152.76 rupees
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The exchange rate of US Dollar fell by 34 paisa in the interbank on Wednesday against Pakistani rupee.
The greenback closed at Rs152.76 rupees on third business day of the week compared to previous closing of 153.09.
Since start of March, dollar has declined by 5.35 rupees or 3.4 percent. The greenback has lost 15.67 or 9.75 percent of its value from its peak of 168.43 in August 2020.
The drop in exchange rate of dollar will help in reducing debt burden on the country by 550 billion rupees.
