Traveling industry takes a hit amid coronavirus pandemic
Travel for pilgrimage also suffered a major blow during seven months of FY21
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Coronavirus pandemic has hit travelling industry drastically during the first seven months of the current fiscal year (FY2020-2021).
As per details, travelling aboard bill during seven months of 2020-21 stood around 454 million dollars as compared to same period last year’s 902 million dollars showing a decline of almost 50 percent.
Travel for pilgrimage also suffered a major blow during seven months of FY21 as only $261,000 worth of travelling was accounted for in seven months of FY21 compared to corresponding period of last year’s massive $269 million.
