February remittances surge 24pc
Remittances stood at $1.82 billion in February last year.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Remittances surged 24.1 percent year on year to $2.26 billion in February keeping the monthly foreign inflows over the two billion dollars mark, the central bank said on Thursday.
State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), in a tweet, said that remittances stood at $1.82 billion in February last year.
During July- February FY2021, Pakistan received unprecedented $18.7 billion on account of foreign remittance compared with $15.1 billion in the corresponding period of last fiscal year.
