KSE sheds 42 points, 71m shares sold

The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE)-100 index shed 42 points to close at 12,533 points.

Investors showed interest in fertilisers sector, but sale of cement, E&P and chemical sector pulled the index in the negative zone. Trade volume remained at 71 million shares.
