The gold prices in the in international market decreased by $22

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs1650 on Thursday and was trade at Rs111,6000 against its sale at Rs113,250 the previous day.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams gold also decreased by Rs1414 and was trade at Rs95,680 against Rs97,094, while gram 22 karat gold was sold at Rs87,706, Karachi Sarafa Association reported.

The price of per tola Silver decreased by Rs30 and was traded at Rs1170 against its sale at Rs1200 against whereas prices of ten gram silver declined by Rs25.72 and was traded at Rs1003.08.

The gold prices in the in international market decreased by $22 and was traded at $1872 against $1894, the association reported.


Jewelry exports increase


Jewelry exports during first three months of current fiscal year grew by 112.53 per cent as compared to the exports of the corresponding period of last year.

During the period from July-Sep, Jewelry valuing US $ 1,917 thousand exported as compared to the zero exports of same period of last year.

According to the data released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the exports of Gems increased by 11.37 percent, Gems valuing US $ 1,596 thousand were exported as compared to the exports of valuing US $ 1,433 of same period of last year.

Meanwhile, Cement worth US $ 72,296 thousand were also exported in current financial year as compared to the exports of valuing US $ 66,773 thousand of same period of last year.

During the period under review, Guar and Guar production exports of the country recorded negative growth of 1.88 per cent.
