Gold price falls Rs 300 to Rs 113,000 per tola

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 300 on Wednesday and was traded at Rs 113,000 against its price at Rs 113,300.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams gold also decreased by Rs 256 and was traded at Rs 96,880 against its sale at Rs 97,136, Karachi Sarafa Association reported.
The price of per tola and ten gram silver remained stagnant at Rs 1200 and Rs 1028.80 respectively.
The gold prices in the in international market decreased by $29 and was traded at $1884 against $1913, the association reported.
Jewelery exports increase record 60.60pc
Meanwhile, jewelry exports during first two months of current fiscal year grew by 60.60 per cent as compared to the exports of the corresponding period of last year.
During the period from July-August, jewelry valuing US $ 697 thousand exported as compared to worth US $ 434 thousand of same period of last year.
According the data released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the exports of Gems increased by 243.18 percent, Gems valuing US $ 1,232 thousand were exported as compared to the nil exports of same period of last year.
Meanwhile, Cement worth US $ 44,510 thousand were also exported in current financial year as compared to the exports of valuing US $ 42,149 thousand of same period of last year.
During the period under review, Guar and Guar production exports of the country also recorded positive growth of 0.81 per cent.
Guar and Guar production US $ 5,992 thousand was exported as compared to the exports of US $5,944 thousand of same period of last year.
