100,000 non-filers to be issued notice: FBR

(Web Desk) – Federal Board of Revenue Chairman Shabbar Zaidi said that the board has decided to issue notices to 100,000 non-filers who own a house larger than 500 square yards or a vehicle over 1,000 cc.
Speaking in Islamabad, he said the government has extended the last date several times for filing of tax returns to August 2 this time for facilitating non-filers in filing their returns.
He said the non-filers would now be brought into the tax net.
