(Web Desk) - The economic team led by Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh on Saturday held a meeting with members of the business community in Lahore to analyse the upcoming federal budget 2019-20.
The meeting achieved consensus over an objective that industrialisation is the future of Pakistan.
Extensive discussions were held in all areas including, revenue mobilization, electricity and gas.
The meeting emphasised the need to curtail expenditures and a budget reflective of the export needs.
The meeting included All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other business leaders.
