ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is likely to soften the conditions regarding sale and purchase of the property in upcoming budget.
According to details, a ban on sale and purchase of property worth over Rs4 million is expected to be lifted for non-filers.
Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) said that the purpose of making this policy flexible is to promote the work in construction and property field.
Meanwhile, Real Estate Consultant Association appreciated the government’s suggestion and demanded to also reduce the tax on the property.
Earlier, Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Committee had revised the supplementary budget it presented in September and restricted non-filers from buying property and new cars worth more than Rs4 million.
