Upcoming 800cc 'Prince Pearl' hits road for test run in Lahore

Prince Pearl will be a tough competitor to other hatchbacks in the league such as United Bravo (800cc) and Suzuki Alto (660cc).

(Web Desk) – Regal Automobiles and DFSK Group of China’s highly anticipated 800cc hatchback ‘Prince Pearl’ hit Lahore’s road today (May 7) for a test run.

After the discontinuation of legendary hatchback Mehran, many automobiles company are launching economic and compact hatchback for a perfect replacement.

Prince Pearl Rex7 in the local industry is equipped with a number of modern features which has not been seen in such segment of cars for a long time.

United Bravo, which was launched in the later part of 2018, is also equipped with quite similar features thus participating in the growth of the locally produced cars as PakWheels reported.

It features some standout aspects such as a touchscreen LCD, power windows and power steering in it alongside a spare tyre to have an edge over United Bravo.

Prince Pearl was spotted on a road test in the provincial capital of Punjab.

Pak Suzuki has recently replaced its decade-old Mehran with the 8th generation of locally produced Alto. United Bravo costs Rs8.95 lacs while Suzuki Alto is expected to cost around 10 lacs for its base version.

Prince Pearl promises to be a surprise package for the customers as it is speculated to be launched at a price tag of around Rs7-7.5 lacs.
