PSX takes sharp dip to touch lowest level in three years

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan stock exchange (PSX) on Monday witness bearish trend as KSE-100 index plunged by 517 points to close at 35605 points.

This was the lowest that the benchmark KSE-100 index has closed in almost three years, when it ended the session at 36,318.21 points.

The total turnover was 71,418,110 as compared to 64,335,470 on the last working day with Maple Leaf having the highest turnover of 6,438,500.

Total 329 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 60 recorded gains and 250 sustained losses whereas the share price of 19 companies remained unchanged.

Colgate Palmolive recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 99.00 rupees while Sapphire Fiber recorded maximum decrease of 35.17 rupees.
