Govt to induct effective policies for farmers' benefit
Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat stressed on the use of modern technology in agriculture sector.
(Web Desk) - Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat has revealed that the federal government will soon formulate and implement effective policies for the welfare of farmers in Pakistan.
Reportedly, he addressed the annual conference of the Auriga Group in Lahore where he expressed his thoughts on the matter that in the past agriculture lands were being used for commercial purpose which adversely affected agriculture, environment and the climate.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken a positive measure by banning the use of agriculture land for residential and commercial purposes.
He also emphasized on the significance of private sector for the promotion of agriculture in the region.
The minister advocated use of modern technology for enhancing the agriculture sector.
