Dollar up by 20 paisa in open market
Dollar at interbank market closed at Rs138.23.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Dollar at interbank and open market made fresh gains on Wednesday.
As per the details, at the open bank, dollar up by 20 paisa to close at Rs138.50 while at interbank market closed at Rs138.23.
On Thursday, Dollar at interbank and open market decline sharply on report that the government to witness fresh investment of $14 billion from Saudi Arabia.
Dollar at interbank declined by 34 paisa to close at Rs138.23 while at the open market it is down by 30 paisa to Rs138.30.
The main reason behind the improvement was the continuous flow of positive news from the economic front, especially the recent development that Saudi Arab to make investment commitment of $14 billion into Pakistan.
Another factor which helped boost sentiment was the government has been finalized plan of deferred payment with Saudi Arabia which would help cushion the falling reserves and weekly payments.
