Pakistan to get $1 billion from Saudi Arabia as first installment by next week: sources
The agreements between the two countries were signed during a visit by PM to Riyadh.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan is likely to get $1 billion from Saudi Arabia as first installment by next week.
On October 23, Saudi Arabia had agreed to provide Pakistan US$3 billion for one year as balance of payment support.
An MoU was signed by Finance Minister Asad Umar and his Saudi counterpart under which Riyadh will place a deposit of US$3 billion for a period of one year as balance of payment support.
The agreements between the two countries were signed during a visit by Prime Minister Imran Khan to Riyadh on the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
During the tour, Imran Khan met King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
