Pak Suzuki increases vehicle prices by Rs40,000

Suzuki car prices have been revised for the fourth time this year.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pak Suzuki Motors increased the car prices in the range of Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 per unit depending upon the models mainly owing to rise in dollar price. The prices have been revised for the fourth time this year.

According to a circular sent to the authorized dealers, the new prices will be applicable from November 1, 2018 whereas the change will not be considered for pending orders who have failed to deposit their balance payment within tentative delivery date of vehicles.

The statement showed that the price of Wagon VXL MC increased to Rs 1,274,000 from Rs 1,234,000, Wagon VXR MC increased to Rs 1,184,000 from Rs 1,144,000, Suzuki Swift DLX increased to Rs 1,515,000 from Rs 1,475,000, Suzuki Swift AT increased t Rs 1,651,000 from Rs 1,611,000, Suzuki Cultus VXR increased to Rs 1,380,000 from Rs 1,340,000 and Suzuki Cultus VXL rises to Rs 1,501,000 from Rs 1,461,000.



A fortnight back, Honda Atlas cars increased the price of their vehicle depending on variants from Rs100,000 to Rs 215,000. Honda increased the car prices for the third time since the start of calendar year 2018. Similarly the Indus Motor also increased the car prices from Rs 50,000 to Rs 175,000 per unit.

The impact of devaluation of the currency has caused iincrease in the prices of other products as well. The Pakistani currency since December 2017 has been depreciated by almost 26 percent.
