Surgical good and medical instruments worth US$ 30.022 million were exported.

ISLAMABAD (APP) - Surgical goods and medical instruments worth US$ 28.548 million exported during first month of current financial year as compared the exports of the corresponding month of last year.

Surgical good and medical instruments worth US$ 30.022 million were exported, which witnessed about 4.96 percent decreased as compared the exports of first month of fiscal year 2018-19.

Meanwhile, cutlery products valuing US$ 6.940 million exported in month of July, 2018-19 as compared the exports of US$ 7.415 million of same month of last year, showing negative growth of 6.41 percent.

According the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, chemicals and pharmaceutical products worth of US$ 80.601 million exported as against US$ 86.528 million of same period of last year.

Meanwhile, country earned US$ 16.397 million by exporting the pharmaceutical products, which stood at US$ 19.621 million of same period of last year, the data added. During the period under review, 657 metric tons of pharmaceutical products exported as compared the 959 metric tons of same period of last year.

During first month of current financial year, country earned US$ 43.111 million by exporting other chemicals as compared the US$ 44.600 million of same month of last year.
