KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Traders Union has urged federal and provincial governments to immediately slap ban of imports from India. The traders also urged to slash taxes on Pakistani products in order to promote their sale.
Current trade balance is heavily in favour of India. In the first eight month of current fiscal year, Pakistan recorded a trade deficit of USD 672 million with India. The deficit was USD 993 million in the same period of last fiscal year.

The demand from STU emerged after fanatic workers of MNS vandalized ZARA’s showroom in India and threatened shopkeeper to stop selling clothes of Pakistani brand.
