HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks ended the morning session in negative territory Wednesday as traders take their cash off the table following recent rallies.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.24 percent, or 6.89 points, to 2,829.68 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China s second exchange, lost 0.46 percent, or 8.47 points, to 1,813.24.
And in Hong Kong the Hang Seng Index lost 0.50 percent, or 94.80 points, to 19,027.28.
